Clinical Psychologist

Deliah is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her Masters in Psychology (Hons) at Murdoch University. Deliah was first registered as a Psychologist in 2011. Since then she has worked in various areas including the Department of Child Protection and the Raphael Centre at St John of God Hospital.

Deliah’s ability to provide people with support and compassion during challenging times allows the client to put their own well-being at the forefront of their focus and find enjoyment in life again.

Deliah is able to draw on her experience with a variety of therapeutic interventions including The Circle of Security Parenting Program (COS-P), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and Mindfulness. Her areas of expertise and interest include:

  • Individual therapy for adolescents and adults
  • Peri-natal issues including postnatal depression and anxiety, pregnancy loss, fertility and post traumatic issues
  • Adolescent social-emotional difficulties
  • Individual issues including depression, stress, anxiety, trauma
  • Mindfulness
  • Coping with grief and loss
  • Schema Therapy

Deliah has a particular interest and aptitude working with women and men affected by depression, anxiety and all mental health issues encountered during the perinatal period. She also enjoys helping adolescents overcome their anxieties to reach their full potential allowing them to delight in what can be a tumultuous time.
