Clinical Psychologist 

Lucy Moran is a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about helping people bring about positive change using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities. She obtained her undergraduate psychology qualifications in Melbourne and completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology in Perth. 

Lucy uses a person-centred collaborative approach to therapy, with a focus on creating a safe space for clients to discuss and explore their concerns. Depending on the individual needs of the client, Lucy uses a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, Attachment models and Motivational Interviewing (MI).  Lucy is experienced in the assessment and treatment of:

  • Anxiety disorders
  • Depression 
  • Emotion regulation
  • Child and teenager counselling
  • Autism spectrum disorder
  • Parenting issues 
  • Difficulties with life transitions
  • Self Esteem and Confidence.

Lucy enjoys working with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, adults and parents, and has a special interest in working with families of children with additional needs. Lucy has worked at Kalparrin, Centre for Families with Children with Special Needs, the Curtin University Child Psychology Clinic, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children Eating Disorders Program, Life Resolutions and Kids are Kids Therapy and Education Centre. 

In addition to her Clinical Psychology training, Lucy brings to her understanding of clients and their circumstances the experience she has gained raising a family, living and working in different countries, working in the corporate sector, and owning a business.
