Hypnotherapist, Psychologist

Kalí is a highly qualified psychologist with a broad range of skills and experience, particularly focused on health and well-being. She is highly qualified in the use of hypnosis for pain management, and also uses it in the treatment of psycho-somatic illness, phobias, addictions, mind/body issues and mental health.   

Kalí has a BA Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and has continued to build on her educational qualifications throughout her career, gaining a Master of Health Psychology from the University of Southern Queensland and a psychology qualification from Universidad de Chile.  Kalí has received extensive training in hypnotherapy techniques in Australia, Chile, USA and Canada. Kalí has achieved qualifications in several areas under the Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis, including hypnosis for the treatment of cancer, pain and psychosomatic illnesses as well as pregnancy and preparation for childbirth.   

Kalí has worked in a range of government and private practices in Australia as well as several years abroad including Chile and Cambodia. Her experience includes working in intensive hospital-based rehabilitation programs, community and clinical settings.  She also has an extensive background in volunteerism including providing psychological services to children and staff in orphanages in Cambodia and Nepal. 

She is passionate about promoting volunteering in underprivileged countries and communities and has worked with a range of organisations to promote humanitarian projects.
