Clinical Psychologist
Lucy Moran is a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about helping people bring about positive change. Lucy completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Curtin University, and she has worked with individuals and families in private practice, government health settings and the disability sector.
Lucy uses a person-centred collaborative approach to therapy, with a focus on creating a safe space for clients to discuss and explore their concerns. Depending on the individual needs of the client, Lucy uses a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Attachment models including the Circle of Security Parenting Program (COSP).
Lucy is particularly interested in working with adolescents and adults in the treatment areas of:
- Emotion regulation
- Anxiety and low mood
- Social anxiety
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Parenting issues
- Challenging family dynamics
- Life transitions
- Relationship difficulties
- Trauma and PTSD (EMDR)
- Grief and loss
In addition to her qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist, Lucy holds a Bachelor of Business and she spent 10 years working in Marketing and Business Planning roles in Adelaide, Sydney and Hong Kong.
